Patient profile ownership and claims

A patient can claim an existing profile through their own verified account, keeping the same patient history.

01

One patient, one active profile

A patient profile can exist before the patient has a sign-in account. Duplicate checks run as identifying information is entered. Finding an existing active profile leads to the approved claim, ownership or account-linking path.

02

The patient verifies the claim

Control is not handed directly from one ordinary User to another. The patient uses the required passport and selfie evidence for the verified claim. Review may be needed before approval.

03

History stays with the existing profile

Approval links the patient’s account to the existing profile without creating a second history. Requests, documents, conversations and appointments remain attached to that profile. Previous management access ends under the ownership-transfer rule.

04

Management after ownership

The patient can grant delegated access afterward. The claimant can follow their own claim outcome and any safe decision reason. Identity conflicts need authorized review rather than another duplicate profile.
