Return to your original question
Identify whether the response concerns a general inquiry, cost question, case review or appointment preference. Note which part it answers and which part remains open. Do not treat a reply to one question as approval of every later arrangement.
List the remaining practical questions
Make a short follow-up list for missing information about location, timing, language or the process described by the Provider. Refer to the relevant part of its reply. Keep each question with the Provider responsible for answering it.
Check cost scope and requested information
If the reply includes an estimate, ask about its inclusions, exclusions, assumptions and validity. If it requests more information, ask which existing records are relevant and how the recipient wants them supplied. Do not interpret a request for information as a treatment decision.
Verify appointment details
Ask whether an appointment has actually been confirmed. Check the date, local time, time zone and location, and ask who confirms a change. Keep any unresolved preference separate from the official details.
Ask the Provider about clinical next steps
Return questions about diagnosis, treatment, medical preparation or follow-up to the Provider or treating clinician. Ask them to explain unclear wording. This guide does not interpret their clinical response or confirm that a proposed treatment is suitable.
Keep the original reply available
Keep the source reply alongside a translation. If wording appears unclear or inconsistent, identify the passage and ask the Provider to clarify it. Do not change dates, instructions or medical meaning based on an unconfirmed interpretation.
Using ShifaTH
A Provider reply does not automatically confirm treatment or an appointment. Each Provider conversation stays independent. You may continue a relevant active request; a new message in a completed request reopens it, while a cancelled request does not reopen. Translations preserve the original as the reference. For the exact task or status problem, use authorized signed-in Help rather than this preparation guide.
