ShifaTH guide

Translations and original content

Translation helps you read content. The original remains the reference.

01

Your text is preserved

ShifaTH stores User and Provider content in its original language. A generated translation does not overwrite it. Readers can return to the original when a translated view is shown.

02

A reading preference changes the view

Automatic translation follows the reader’s language and preference. It changes what the reader sees by default, not what the sender wrote or who is allowed to see the message.

03

Errors and source changes matter

Translation can fail, be imperfect or become outdated when source content changes. Failure does not undo original-message delivery. A translated view is not a certified medical interpretation or a guarantee of accuracy.

04

Confirm important details

Use the original alongside the translated view when clarifying care or appointment information with the Provider. Clinical decisions remain with the Provider; translation does not turn platform content into medical advice.
