Clinical care and appointment confirmation

ShifaTH helps organize access and communication with Providers. Clinical care and official appointment decisions have their own responsibilities and processes.

What ShifaTH coordinates

ShifaTH is a patient–Provider access and coordination platform. It supports discovery, requests, authorized information sharing, conversations and appointment-related steps. It is not the treating Provider or the clinical decision-maker.

What the Provider or clinician decides

Diagnosis, treatment decisions and clinical care remain with the Provider or clinician. Sending a request does not guarantee that the Provider will accept the patient for treatment or that care will produce a particular outcome.

An appointment request is not confirmation

A preferred date or time tells the Provider what you would like. Confirmation requires the authorized official appointment process; the request alone does not create it. ShifaTH does not promise instant booking or control of the Provider’s external scheduling system.

A listing does not guarantee suitability or availability

A Provider or professional listing introduces published information. Appearing in ShifaTH does not certify suitability for your case or guarantee availability. Selecting a displayed professional does not confirm an appointment with them.

Translations and automated assistance are aids

Generated translations and extracted document information can help you work with source material, but they can be imperfect. Keep the original as the reference, review extracted details where required and confirm important clinical or appointment information with the Provider. These tools do not diagnose or replace clinical judgment.
