Acceptable Use Policy
ShifaTH is operated by Al Aziz Co., Ltd. These rules govern participation in ShifaTH. They apply to Users, Organization members and public contributors. Version 0.5; applicable when presented for the relevant use or agreement.
1. Accurate and authorized participation
Use accurate identities and Provider information. Supply only information you are entitled to provide. Do not impersonate a patient, guardian, professional, Provider or platform employee, forge attendance evidence, falsify an authorization or misrepresent clinical credentials.
Access and use patient information only for an authorized purpose and within your current permissions. Do not use invitations or delegated access to take ownership of another person's profile.
2. Respect and safety
Do not threaten, harass, exploit, discriminate against or intentionally deceive other people. Do not upload unlawful material or offer unlawful clinical services. Report specific safety concerns through support; the platform is not an emergency service.
A respectful complaint, an honest negative review, a second opinion or a decision to approach several hospitals is allowed.
3. Protect private information
Do not publish passport information, HNs, patient names, medical details, private contact information or another person's sensitive records in reviews, public posts or Provider responses.
Use the authorized private document and request paths. Do not disclose another Provider's isolated records or access another patient's information. Do not scrape, trade or repurpose patient information for unrelated advertising.
Public Provider content and platform conversations must not contain direct-contact details or links intended to bypass the platform. This rule does not prevent reporting to a regulator, seeking emergency help, exercising privacy rights through the designated contact, or a Provider collecting contact details through its separate external intake.
4. Legitimate Provider choice and abusive sending
Selecting one, several or all participating hospitals offered by the Hospital request flow is permitted. In the Clinic request flow, you select one Organization at a time. Separate legitimate requests are not violations merely because they concern the same patient.
Do not operate automated bulk duplicate sending, flooding or repeated unwanted activity designed to overload the service, evade controls, harass recipients or manipulate platform records. Restrictions address abusive behavior and do not prohibit the Hospital selection choices described above.
5. Reviews and public information
Review only through your eligible confirmed-visit flow and describe the experience honestly. A managed patient's visit may be reviewed by the User who created the request. Do not fabricate visits, buy reviews, manipulate ratings, threaten someone over feedback or disclose private facts in a response.
A Provider may report a specific violation, but a low rating alone is not grounds for removal. Review and content decisions follow the moderation process. Public claims, professional credentials, images and logos must have an accurate basis and appropriate rights.
6. System integrity
Do not attempt unauthorized access, malicious uploads, credential theft, access-control bypass, falsified security proofs, fraudulent account recovery or exploitation of another Organization's records. Do not interfere with required audit records or falsify corrections.
7. Reporting, action and review
To report a violation, use an available support/reporting control or support@shifath.com. Give the relevant item or case reference, the rule you believe is affected, a factual explanation and only necessary evidence. Do not repeatedly circulate exposed medical files to demonstrate an incident.
We may request information, correct a mistake, restrict the affected access, quarantine or moderate content, or suspend or terminate participation under the applicable Terms or Provider agreement. Automated checks may flag content or activity for review; submitting a complaint alone does not prove a violation.
We provide a reason and an opportunity to contest an action through the Complaints Policy, subject to lawful limits needed to protect others or an investigation. The notice and termination protections in the applicable Terms or executed agreement remain applicable. This policy does not authorize unrestricted removal without review.
